Keep free time - that contributed greatly to the "open" feel of the adventure.

I would keep the student picked activities, and would maybe consider moving the research day back to boston. It would be more fun and would keep students more focused.

The time balance between work and free time was just perfect. Not too much work that it was boring, but not so little that I felt like I wasn't getting anything done. That should stay the same.

Overall the trip was a good experience, however I believe the departure time could be change, so that we can receive the extra hours of sleep before going.
