New Staff Training

Staff new to the JUA will be taking part in a training tomorow.

We'll model the experience of the JUA from the student perspective. In other words staff will become students to explore a topic area. Dave and I will be the topic area leaders and guide staff through the experience. We're going to run through core aspects of the JUA that students will complete in Boston in a more extended fashion.

The goal of this training is to teach core safety, supervision and curriculum elements.

The topic we will study as a staff will be the War in Iraq. Specifically we will look at an artist who reflects on personal integrity, political integrity and the role of the artist in a time of war.

We will also complete a community interaction activity which groups may use in Boston.
