Asking Essential Questions

The center of the JUA is an essential question that you will ask.

To help guide you to meaningful and powerful questioning your question should:

1) Relate to your topic area
2) Relate to this year's theme: Global Problems, Local Solutions
3) Spark our curiosity and sense of wonder

How do you get started asking a question that does all this?

First you can check out this resource for more on essential questions.

Then you can print out this worksheet and start to brainstorm what you know, what you want to learn and what you need to make that happen.

This is the information that your group leaders will use to plan your itinerary. It is very important that you complete this activity to make sure you get to learn about what you care about!
